Snailking are another brilliant Sludge/Doom Metal band coming from Sweden. What are the odds in Sweden providing another amazing Sludge/Doom Metal Band.
I don't know what that country's great secret is in supplying the Sludge/Stoner/Doom Metal world with great bands such as Truckfighters, Ghost, Pike, Odyssey amongst others but they have done it again.
Snailking are the real deal. A bona-fide top-notch Sludge/Doom Metal Band who could be headed for great things if they keep releasing brilliant releases like their first demo - Samsara is anything to go by.
All I can say is FUCKING WOW - Samsara just rocks out from the word go. A 3 song and 35 minute blast of top-notch Sludge/Doom/Stoner Metal riffage you all need to hear right now.
The first track Shelter is a 14 minute masterpiece that will have you begging for more. Paying homage to SLEEP, KYLESA and Mastodon amongst others but still offering huge blasts of originality to stand out from the crowd.
This release has already been featured on great blogs such as StonerRobixxx and A Distant Rumble. An will probably be featured on a whole lot more.
Samsara just fucking rocks. It's a brilliant release from a great band to keep an eye on. Brilliant and that is all I am going to say on it.
